I am writing briefly to share my reaction to the events of last night. My husband and budding artist daughter were fortunate enough to share a table with you last night at the Arty Gras event. Your painting, Mystery Storm caught my daughter\’s passion at the Gallery opening and it was the one piece she wished to enjoy for the rest of her life. It is not our habit to indulge our children in such an elaborate way, but it sang to my husband as well. Here I must tell you, my daughter has had the opportunity to have such exposure to Fine Art as to include some of the most wonderful art museums across the country. She has a true passion for beauty. Never have I seen her more taken with a piece than Mystery Storm. As it was unveiled in our living room last night the thought of \”Tempest\” was first in my mind before they shared the title of the piece. To say that my heart lept at it being revealed would be an understatement. It is an amazing piece and we are honored to be the care takers of such a beautiful work of Art. Your passion and talent are treasures and I am grateful my daughter has had the opportunity to know you as well. Thank you for being you and sharing your great gift. Mystery Storm will be the centerpiece of our home from this time until my daughter has a home of her own to enjoy it in, and even then, it will be tough to let her take it.
